Summary
Elena is a senior at the University of Michigan studying Engineering Physics. Her interests include using and developing optical techniques for investigating ultrafast processes of complex material systems. Elena worked at LBL for Summer 2019, where she investigated thermochromic effects in transient absorption spectroscopy, and has continued her affiliation working remotely. This fall she will be working for Professor Markus Raschke at CU Boulder and taking remote classes for Michigan. She will be applying for physics graduate school this fall and hopes to make her way back to LBL sometime soon!
